TGIF!

yEAH!  i’M HAPPY!  tHIS WEEK HAS BEEN LONG AND i’M TOTALLY GOING TO REST.  mY HEALTH IS TELLING ME TO TAKE IT EASY.  I THINK I’M GOING THROUGH THE MOTIONS OF CHANGING.  pARTICULARLY WITH WORK, HOME, AND FAMILY.  CHANGE IS ENVITABLE.  JUST THAT IT’S HAPPENING REALLY SOON. 

I REALLY NEED TO START TAKING CARE OF MYSELF.  i KNOW , U TAKE CARE OF OTHER PPL B4 URSELF.  THAT IS KINDA TRUE.  NOW I’M GOING TO BE SELFISH THINK OF MYSELF FIRST, BCUZ IF I DON’T THEN I’M IN FOR A HELL OF PAIN.

WELL I JUST CAUGHT UP WITH THE SEASON FINALE OF THE OFFICE AND PARKS AND RECREATION.  I WASN’T EXPECTING IT TO BE A SAD ONE, ESPECIALLY COMING FROM TWO COMEDY SHOWS.  WELL I’M ANTICIPATING THE SEASON PREMIERE OF TRUE BLOOD.  ALTHOUGH I DON’T HAVE HBO BUT I CAN FIND CREATIVE WAYS.

job sucks!

I don’t really like the position I’m in . It really sucks that my job is really crappy!  I don’t have a clue, why I’m still here.  I told myself I wouldn’t stay that long.  Well that long became 8 years.  How did that happen?  Wait, I’m thinking and I don’t really have a freakin clue.  Although there were some moments that were definitely priceless.  Not everyone will agree with me on this one.   

I weighed the pros and cons.  It looks I will be leaving-as in leaving on a jet plane and don’t know when I’ll be back.  I had my share of doubts but this time I’m going to do it .  I don’t want to be stuck in a no future, full of crap, no heart and wouldn’t care less because the door is open policy and your replaceable song.

I’m Cool like that!

I’m enjoying the breeze and the silence.  Everyone’s asleep and I’m still awake.  Sipping on some ginger beer.  Yummy!  I had a somewhat busy night @ the spa.  I had about five clients.  I don’t know how long I can continue massaging.  I’m beginning to have that seven year itch.  I just need to figure out what to do next in my life.

I had an interesting conversation with my co-worker Mesia and she mentioned what are you doing here working?  Mesia always tells me this whenever I’m around.  I explained myself all the time.  After being in school for so long and getting my brain fried or having a fried brain,  I needed a break from all that thinking.  So I decided to do something totally different.  I took a chance and an opportunity that I couldn’t let go.  So I became a Massage Therapist and never looked back.  That was seven years ago.  I’m the last one standing in my class.  I’m the only one left from my batch.  Then Mesia came back.  So I’m no longer by myself and have someone to back me up.  It’s fun to have Mesia around to remember the good times roll in the job.

I’m looking forward to the next step.  Because I’m Cool like that!
